HOUSTON, TX —The winners of the C47Houston The Best “Made In Houston” Independent Short Film for 2011, were announced this morning in the February 2012 issue of C47Houston Magazine. Jesse Young III / Stephen Paul won the C47′s Best Short Film for Freedoom: A Monologue by Stephen Paul. Wayne Slaten’s Cold War, and Jeff Brewer’s Simulation 9 aslo won Best Short Film.
This year, C47Houston wanted to “recognize” the Best “Made in Houston” Independent Film for 2011. Using the TSIRS (The Texas Standardized Independent Rating System) C47Houston picked the best film in the categories of Best Feature, Best Music Video, Best Documentary Feature, and Best Short.
